In runway fashion, streetwear had been mainstream for many years, but this is slowly shifting to tailored styles. Now is the right time to begin incorporating jackets in our outfits. So what sort of jackets should we be looking at? We recommend choosing one that is uniquely designed, but is not too classic. The peaked lapel jacket that was released in Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme’s 2008 A/W features dropped shoulders and shortened sleeves that fits perfectly with our mood today. To better make the sleek jacket stand out, we chose to wear with it a striped shirt from 2001 A/W RAF SIMONS, and striped pants by COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS. Choosing sneakers of like colors add to give an effortless touch.
